What lessons are available?
We offer music lessons for the following instruments:
Piano | Guitar | Drums | Vocals & Singing | Bass
How long are lessons?
Lessons can be booked for 30 or 60 minutes. Lessons are face to face or online.
When are lessons held?
We host lessons every day of the week. Once enrolled, your lessons can continue on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
We run in line with school term times but can also teach throughout the holidays if required, subject to availability.
Where are lessons located?
Lessons are held at our fully equipped teaching studios in Lichfield 5 Tudor Row, Wade Street, Lichfield WS13 6HH. Lessons over zoom are available if needed.
How often are lessons?
We offer lessons in line with school terms. Terms are typically between 12 – 15 weeks. You would have the same day and time slot each week.
Do I have to take exams?
Students have an opportunity to take graded exams where appropriate. Grade 6 is equivalent to a GCSE with UCAS points, Grade 8 an A Level with UCAS points.

How do I pay for lessons
Lessons can be paid for in the following ways:
Credit / Debit Card Instore
Online or by phone
Direct bank transfer
How do I cancel a lesson?/ What if I cannot attend a lesson?
In the event you need to cancel or are unable to attend, cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the planned lesson time. If cancellation occurs with sufficient notice, we will endeavour to rearrange that lesson for a more convenient time. If 48 hours are not given, payment will still be due for the lesson.
We strongly encourage students to ensure that they attend their regular lesson slot, as a catch-up lesson cannot always be guaranteed.
What is Derosa Music Lichfield?
Located in the heart of the historic city of Lichfield.
Our address is 5 Tudor Row, Wade Street, Lichfield WS13 6HH.
Conveniently located within 2 minute walk from Lichfield bus station, 3 minute walk from Lichfield train station and with ample long and short stay parking within 20 metres of the teaching studios.
On street parking in parking bays is free for 30 minutes and there is no charge after 6pm.
Opening hours
Our opening hours are flexible and suited to the needs of our students. We have a large selection of lesson slots at days and times to suit you, your lifestyle or your child's availability.
To minimise inconvenience and to fit busy schedules, we operate term times only. Out of term classes or available as on option. You will only ever be charged for lessons in term times allowing you plenty of time for other commitments, family holidays etc without concern for paying you are unable to attend.
